Portuguese Man-O-War →

5-24-17 Stay away from the colorful sea life if you see one.  It is actually a Portuguese Man-O-War and they can still sting you days after they have died.  Read the article under the link below.  They have been washing up all along the southern east coast since January. 

My grandmother was stung by one when I was young and it was very, very bad.  She was sic for a vet long time and the hospital didn't even realize what they were dealing with back then.  It is not normal for these guys to be here in the numbers we are seeing.
